The department provides anesthesia/day care services in the following centres and surgical disciplines
- Main Operation theatre (12 OTs)
- General Surgery, Obstetric and Gynaecology, ENT, Urology, Paediatric Surgery, plastic surgery, organ transplant and GI surgery
- Maternity OT (Two) and IVF OT (1) in the 3rd floor of the Main Hospital
- Orthopaedics Theatres in the first floor of OPD block of Main hospital (4 operation theatres)
- RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences- 4 operation theatres
- Centre for Dental Education and Research- 2 operation theatres
- J. P. Narayan Apex Trauma Centre- 4 operation theatres
Peripheral Anesthesia Services
- MRI- Thrice a week
- CT Scan and DSA- Thrice a week
- MECT- Thrice a week
- Lithotripsy- Twice a week
- Endoscopy –Once a week
- Main Operation theatre (12 OTs)
AB8 ICU
The Intensive care unit in the 8th floor (AB 8) adjacent to Main operation theatres provides intensive care services to post-surgical patients and medical patients on referral basis, The ICU has state of the art ventilators, Multi-parameter monitors and has a laboratory of its own
